The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 45 newly granted patents for Apple Inc. today. In our first granted patent report posted earlier today we covered Apple inventions regarding millimeter wave antennas for future 5G iPhones, one covering Project Titan while winning a design patent for the iPhone X display with its notch. In this second granted patent report we briefly cover the wireless module used in iPhones starting with iPhone 8 and X while touching on a round of inventions for multiple styled keyboards and more.
Granted Patent: Inductive Module
Apple’s newly granted patent 10,084,349 covers their invention relating to the iPhone’s wireless power receiving module that receives magnetic flux for wireless power transfer as noted in patent FIGS. 2 and 3 below. Apple began to use this module with iPhone 8, 8-Plus and X.
